AUCS (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") regarding the handling of user information in the smartphone application "DrillStudioViewer" (hereinafter referred to as the "App").

 

Article 1 (Information Collected and Used)

The Company handles the following information in this App:

 

1. Download Key: A text string entered by the user to view specific drill data.
2. Camera Access: The App uses the device's camera for the purpose of obtaining download keys via QR codes. Captured video data is used solely for the QR code scanning process and is never saved as photos or videos, nor is it transmitted to external servers.
3. Technical Information: To maintain security and improve services, the App may automatically collect device model names, OS versions, IP addresses, and access logs.

 

Article 2 (Purpose of Use)

The Company uses the collected information for the following purposes:

 

1. To provide appropriate drill data based on the download key entered or scanned via QR code.
2. To prevent unauthorized access to the server and maintain security.
3. To analyze statistics for app bug fixes and usability improvements.

 

Article 3 (Management of Personal Information)

The App does not require the input of information that directly identifies individuals, such as name, address, phone number, email address, or credit card information. Furthermore, the App does not access contacts or photos on the device (except when the user explicitly performs a save operation).

 

Article 4 (Provision to Third Parties)

The Company will not provide collected information to third parties without the user's consent, except as required by law.

 

Article 5 (Handling of Drill Data)

The data viewable in this App is created in "DrillStudio" and is intended for sharing among users who possess a specific key.

 

Users shall only use download keys obtained from trusted sources.

 

Regarding the copyrights and usage rights of data created by third parties, users shall follow the agreement between the data creator and the user. The Company assumes no responsibility for the content of the data.

 

Article 6 (Changes to this Privacy Policy)

The Company may revise this Policy in accordance with changes in laws or service content. Any such revisions will be announced within the App or on the official website.
